I haven't worked them or medicated them for anything. I know they were bought from our IFA out here so I guess they received their standard vaxs. I keep telling the others to stay alive.- Kristenaty

It's been beautiful weather lately. 70s and 80s. I don't know who does which poop. We have/had four RIRs, two BO pullets, a BR pullet and five chicks we just bought. They all seem normal.- Kristenaty

I don't know what's going on. I was given four Rhode Island Red hens one year ago in November when they were about a year and a half. They were pretty decent layers up until a few months ago. I'm so glad my husband made me a new chick brooder for the five new chicks we got. It hinges on the top so it is super convenient to open, get the chicks in and out and fill the food and water. It's attached the to Rubbermaid tote so they have a nice place to go at night or during the rain. I...- Kristenaty

I think we are going to process our chickens on Saturday. I'm a little nervous. I just needed to check to make sure there is no ordinance prohibiting killing, plucking, and processing in our backyard. We are in Salt Lake City. Kristen- Kristenaty

Does anyone have a rooster collar I could borrow for a few months here in SLC? I want to get my one rooster to be big enough for freezer camp, but according to my neighbor, he sounds like a squeaky toy in the morning. Kristen- Kristenaty
