    Weak, sleepy, panting chicken

Fright?! Seriously? Wow. That give the phrase "are you chicken?" new meaning for me. Thanks for responding. She is fine now. I am relieved and surprised. I was so sure she was within hours of death. Weird. I have so much to learn. Thanks again to all that responded.

    Weak, sleepy, panting chicken

Thanks for taking the time to respond. Oddly, this evening she seems maybe 70% better. This makes the whole situation even more puzzling. I hope she is going to be ok but if she isn't I will check into Dr. Brown. This morning I was convinced that she would be dead by the end of the day and...

    Where did it go??

I have an unnatural terror of snakes. I hope you are wrong. I may have to move if you are right. Although I guess that makes the most sense. i hadn't thought of that. UGH!!!

    Where did it go??

Last night we got home late so I checked for eggs at night. We have one chicken that routinely lays her eggs on the ground. Anyone know why? Well it was there on the ground but it was under where all the chickens roost. I wasn't willing to walk under the chickens to get it. I figured I...
