Also, the white frizzles are standard size. They are so pretty! And soft (when they let us hold them). Thank you for the compliment. We are having so much fun raising them, but as they are maturing it's evident to us that we have far too many roos in our flock.

The grey one always has his tail straight up in the air. His legs are short. He and the brown bantam are our smallest by far. Tiny little guys.

Thank you all so much for this wonderful help! So my middle roos are Old English (the black and brown tiny ones)? They are bantams. Or that's what they were called at Tractor Supply, where we got them.

Thank you both. Do you think the first two EE's are female or roos? It's obvious that Captain is a rooster. The other two don't have combs anywhere near what his looks like, so that's why I assumed females.

We have our very first flock of 11, 18 week old sweeties. We started with 12 but lost our favorite one, tragically, to a dog who dug under our fence. A story for another time, though. Four of them have started crowing and it's obvious they are roosters. I know I have four hens, that I believe to...

    Is he a rooster?

Thanks! I've been thinking he is for a few weeks. Those tail feathers are sticking straight up!

    Is he a rooster?

I'm wondering if anyone else thinks this bantam (named Geyser) is a rooster? [/IMG]

    What breed are these babies?

They are five weeks old and so pretty! Beeper and Sully (named by my 3 yr old) are the two white fluffy chicks in front with feathered feet and legs. What are they?

Love these babies! New to chickens.

Thank you! I forgot to mention how long we've had them. They are five weeks now. So I will use that link to post their pictures! Thanks again!!

Love these babies! New to chickens.

I am a stay at home wife and mommy. My husband is in the ministry and we have a three year old little boy bundle of wonder. On a recent trip to Tractor Supply for fencing materials, we ended up coming home with 12 new babies! 4 bantams, 4 straight run and 4 pullets. They were two weeks old when...
