    I have 7 hens no rooster. They coop is 5x7 and the run is 8x16. I have 6 nesting boxes but they all prefer one. She has been staying in the box for about a week now. She went broody on me last year also. I will try and get a picture of her to post.

    Goat feed for chickens

    Today I had two different people tell me they are switching their chickens over to goat feed with seeds and oats mixed in as their seems to be a problem with chicken feed now and hens have stopped laying. Anyone know anything about this?

    Hen being nasty

    I have held her down before. I just worry I have a young son who loves being with the chickens but I won’t let him now with her being this way. I’ll try pecking her back and see if that helps.

    I have 8 chickens and I normally get 3-6 eggs a day. The last 2 days i have only gotten 2 eggs. Northing has changed except the weather as it has started to get colder. I live in upstate NY. Could the cold weather be the reason for less eggs?

    IT HAPPENED!!!

    That is awesome. I got so exited when I got my first egg. Today I got three for the first time so I was very excited. I have 8 hens so I can’t wait until they all start to lay eggs
