We raise them and haven't had any die after hatching and treat them as all the others...The ONLY issue we find with them is they stay so small that they quickly become the target of big feet so we keep moving them back with other younger babies(i.e. silkies, polish, etc.) until they can go...

Our sebrights love bananas and tonight I had some fun feeding them! I wasn't even ready yet and they jumped up and bit it out of my hand(they free range) so I turned on cam and this is what i got!

We have a bunch of white ones as well, they're one of my personal favorites, my alpha is King! I love his horns!

Thank you! It's been a focus of ours to make a black sultan and hopefully, get to point where we can spread them around the US...We couldn't find any here, only in Europe, so we made our own..Well, in process, hoping for consistency in color and traits...Stay tuned! :-)
A way:
hold in your arm, either dip cupped hand in bucket/under faucet and pour on crest and just massage her...rinse and repeat...
OR
Wait till it's pouring out in decent temperatures, put on your raincoat, grab hen, stand in rain, massage head! :-)

Spray bottle while holding her...
On our 4th generation of breeding, using a WCB Polish hen X Sultan roo we got a "black" polish...The elusive trait was the cuff, it came thru on this one! All we need now is a complete hen to pop out and we'll be cooking with fire!...I'll get more, better pics soon...
