just for future reference, incase anyone has this same problem, the eggs are doing fine so far. I can see them moving around in their eggs as of a few days ago.
they all look just the same. the veins are very obvious in real life, not so much in the picture. But then so is then so is the ring.
The temp and humidty has always been kept very accurate. except for the first 2-3 days it was kept at 70-80% by mistake.

2 were clear on the inside, so I cracked them open and one looked like a regular egg while the other had 5 red dots in the shape of the #5 side of a dice. Not sure what to make of that.
My main concern, however, are the other supposedly fertile duck eggs. I can clearly see a network of veins...

what do you guys think about beach sand? It wouldn't get muddy in there, which is what I would like to avoid. Although I'm not sure about how easily I would keep it clean. I'm thinking rain or even a light sprinkle from a garden hose would dissolve most duck waste and it would filter down...

I have a 15x15 fenced in area that I want to keep 2-3 ducks in. I plan on putting down centipede grass and I'm wondering if they would destroy it or not. I know they eat grass, I just don't know to what extent. They will be in their pens the majority of the day.
