7 month old chicken is almost completely paralyzed. Slow deterioration. Can hardly move now but is still drinking and eating water.
Is this Marek’s disease? Should I euthanize her?
They were not. They were from tractor supply and 3 out of 4 have now died.
First one died at 8 weeks old
Second one died at 6 months olds
And third one just died last week at 8 months old.
Very sad.
We now only have one of the original 4 remaining and we will see what happens.
7 month old chicken.Hasn’t laid in a few days.Pasty butt it appears. Not moving much. Only drinking water currently. She’s very lethargic and falling asleep standing up.
Where I touch her crop she perks up high but that’s the only time I get any movement out of her.
Poops are green and white.
Feed is Purina Layena & Omega-3 Laying Poultry Feed
I’m not sure the last time she laid but not in the past 2 days for sure since I began isolating her from the rest.
She’s 7 months old
this chicken of ours is usually the most lively one and since last night she has not looked well at all. Please help as to what may be going on with her.
All other 11 chickens we have are perfect fine.
Thanks
New chicken owner here. Going on 6 months now.
Is this crown normal? Hers has always been different than the others but the last few weeks it has began to droop even more. It almost blocks one of her eyes completely.
Someone please help!
