Aww theyre so cute!! And for me... only that one chick hatched, the other two didn’t make it. I don’t know why. :/ This is him by the way😊

Day 31 and still no chicks but I can hear chirping

You’re right this is not my first hatch. It’s my third. My first two hatches were successful and did not need my assistance at all. I also understand that I did wrong by not asking for help before but I just thought it would be better if I gave them time hatch by themselves first. I’m also a...

Day 31 and still no chicks but I can hear chirping

Thank you! I’ve been reading the article trying to understand everything before I make a move on the eggs. I will keep updated, and thank you for being so nice about it. I’ve seen some people comment about why I put them in if they were covered in poop, I did this with no bad intentions. I...

Day 31 and still no chicks but I can hear chirping

Throw them in the trash. I could hear chirping... I wasn’t just gonna throw away some eggs that clearly had life inside of them😐

Day 31 and still no chicks but I can hear chirping

They cracked from zipping because when I put them in the incubator none of them were cracked except for one. It was the one chirping the most. all of our dog crates were being used so we had no other option but to put her in the smallest one we have, It looked like she had enough room but I...

Day 31 and still no chicks but I can hear chirping

The day I started counting was 3/23/21, and she had the nine eggs that I have in the incubator right now. We put her in lockdown by herself with the eggs, and after seeing they didn’t hatch we moved them to the incubator. But before I put them in here I did throw two away cause they were infertile

Day 31 and still no chicks but I can hear chirping

This is a picture of how they look. My chicken pooped on them a lot. The two marked in green started shaking when I opened the incubator to check on them. The two in blue are broken but when I tapped on them they didn’t move at all. I think they are dead😢 when I tapped on the ones marked in red...

I don’t quite understand what you’re trying to say, do you mean like listen to the chirping?

Day 31 and still no chicks but I can hear chirping

I had a broody hen but I guess she didn’t sit on the eggs correctly and they didn’t hatch by day 23. I decided it would be better if I put the eggs in the incubator and let her free. I could hear lots of chirping, and one of the eggs was actually already cracked. It is now day 31 and I still...

What gender is my 3 week old chick?

I’m not really sure what type of bantam it is. I was in between Serama or Dutch. Do you think you can help me identify their breed? This is a picture of the parents of the chick (p.s. the little rooster got frostbite that’s why part of his comb fell off)
