    Just an update, she’s healing up perfect and her sisters have not bothered her since the we put her back into the coop. Still not sure what could’ve happened but from observing them over the past few days I don’t think it was one of them that did it to her. Very happy it wasn’t a worse injury...

    Thank you all for replying! This morning my fiancé and I wrapped her in a towel and he snipped the dangling part off. She bled a bit, I didn’t have anything on hand to stop it with so we just applied pressure with a paper towel. Sprayed some more of the veterycin on it and then put a thin layer...

    Awesome! Like I said before, it doesn't really matter to me. My MIL seems to think the earliest they will lay is 9 months old but should be a year. I was like uhhh I don't think that's right lol.
