Pullets comb torn off

Just an update, she’s healing up perfect and her sisters have not bothered her since the we put her back into the coop. Still not sure what could’ve happened but from observing them over the past few days I don’t think it was one of them that did it to her. Very happy it wasn’t a worse injury though and that we were able to take care of it. Just waiting on them to lay some eggs still!

Glad to hear that she is doing well. Combs can get ripped on fencing, a nail, or something sharp like the inside of a feeder or waterer. Hopefully, it won’t happen again.
