Don't really want to move my girl from eggs but noticed Spider Mite and don't know what to do. Can she be treated on the nest? Powdered coop 4 days ago but the little buggers are persistant!!!!!
Thanks - she seems to have perked up a bit and had a drink. Only sitting on 2 of her eggs - the other 4 cool so I've removed them. Do you think if I keep them warm I could put them back under her tomorrow?
Thanks, - have her in a cat box in the kitchen and she seems a little perkier. Not sure if eggs have survived but will get her some gatorade and try that out. I can see 2 eggs at the side of her so may have lost that clutch, but rather that than lose Misty.:|
Hi, Bovan Goldline has been sitting on 6 eggs for 14 days now. Looked in on her this morning and she was laying at the side of the eggs head drooping. Don't think she has been out of the henhouse for 2 days so have tried to give her water (using a straw) and some oats but still has eyes...

Hi - new to babies and relieved to read your posts. Just picked up 1 two day old blue orp and 2 four day old suffolk. Bluebell is very sleepy - how much sleep do they need? It is evening here now - should I be worried? :|
