Well they absolutely love it fermented! The ducks usually aren't very enthusiastic about fermented feed. They eat it cause they have no other choice. Lol. But I added a coffee can of the Catfish feed to the 3 cans of layer and game bird mix that I've been feeding and let it get soggy with it...

I haven't had any luck crossing mature ducks of different breeds raised separately. They may if raised from babies w each other. But my drake is prejudiced. While none of the magpies mind the one buff duck, the drake won't top her or even flirt w her.

i feed mine their main meal in the evening. so when i "chick, chick, chick" my chickens up, the ducks come a running in a single file line from the pasture or pond to get in the coop at night with the chickens. they usually lead the rest of the flock into the coop.
