    I occasionally start feeling weird about giving my girls such tasty treats and herbs, because inevitably I drift off to thinking about how well chicken and Rosemary go together while I watch my precious little Elfi nibbling on some.

    She might be an EE, they're fancy chicken mutts, so you get a mixed bag in the looks department. She's very pretty, but definitely shows a few different things I'd associate with different breeds.

    Apparently it's not that uncommon, and I know once they start eating raw eggs they'll crack their own and eat them. I don't know how to break that habit, no pun intended, other than maybe to try and get eggs out quickly, and enrich protein and calcium sources. And cracked or super poopy eggs you...
