Born July 25th, we have young guineas ready for new homes. Born here on our property to a Royal Purple mother and a Lavender father, they have been raised around chickens. The parents, from a hatchery, were raised by slightly older chickens. So, we think these guineas are all a bit more...
We had a guinea couple that managed to hatch their first brood. They were happily raising the keets together, when a bobcat nabbed the dad about 2 weeks ago. We have a chance to get a two new male guineas, raised with chickens and relatively tame. We also keep chickens with our guineas. We...
We have hawk problems too, but my guineas are fearless warriors and saved my hen's life. They actully attack the hawks, it's suprising but we had two attacks from hawks, and the last time it visited it got attacked, that was last year.
GMO is destroying natural habitat for the Monarch Butterfly, an American image that carries pride. But how can we think of us as a people of nature when we destroy our own mascot for conservation? I will do my part by not buying GMO and companies like Coke that supported GMO. They will not tell...
Your're probably right about the lender needing to find a job, but a 100 dollars a week? She needs the extra money with or without the guy wanting to collect his money that she owes him, it could help pay for her next meal. She could probably get herself at least few hundred more if she started...

Have you tried selling some assets yet? You could try to scrap extra metal or you could try to turn in some soda cans. If you have extra stuff in your garage that you don't need, sell it. I bet you have tried this allready but I'm just trying to help you make ends meet. Hold a bakesale if needed.
Make sure that the chick is alive and that it consumes something within 48 hours of hatching, basicly just try to feed it and keep it warm untill this hopefully passes.
I know this sounds weird, but when my chicken was injured, she drank a lot of soymilk carton washout water. She seemed to really like it, plus soymilk is full of healthy stuff. So if you have some milk carton washout water, you might want to try it. Sorry about the rooster and the hen, I hope...
