Not sure if picture helps much.

we do have a country store with Specific Brands of feed, but its not cheap.
the above feed is 9.60 a 50 lb bag. Feed at country store is 12.00 to 16.0o a 50 lb bag.
Pellets get kicked out and flicked out ,and crumble.. Even the chick...
They Free range. Cant get more diverse than that.
Anyone know a brand...or a mix with No corn or little. Our MFA mixes their own food,so I have no idea what they put in it.
Funny....i Dont Feed them Corn.
its in...the foid i get from our MFA...Crumble for brown egg layers.
my Chickens Pick it out and leave the rest. As my post stated.
I started my Free Ranging flock on a Cracked Corn and mineral mix.
After see most of it on the floor. I tried different types of feeders, but each one failed for one reason or another.
I switched to a crumble a year ago. They ate even the dust in the beginning. Now, they scratch out the corn...
I'm in Missouri and I have Silkies...and some cross bantams. Buff Silkie, partridge, black splash. My cross is Marian and Porcelain.
I'd like to see some of your Bantams.
Funny.
I look again and something says "Rooster"
No signs of being one,but something about that Silkie makes me think Rooster.
Let us know what happens. I'd Love to see.
