    Picky Chickens?...

    Not sure if picture helps much. im tired of our MFA. we do have a country store with Specific Brands of feed,but its not cheap. the above feed is 9.60 a 50 lb bag. Feed at country store is 12.00 to 16.0o a 50 lb bag. Pellets get kicked out and flicked out ,and crumble.. Even the chick...

    Its Brown egg layer crumble. It has corn,they pick it out... Ill add photos tomorrow of the food. i dont have your average chickens,lol.

    They Free range. Cant get more diverse than that. Anyone know a brand...or a mix with No corn or little. Our MFA mixes their own food,so I have no idea what they put in it.

    Funny....i Dont Feed them Corn. its in...the foid i get from our MFA...Crumble for brown egg layers. my Chickens Pick it out and leave the rest. As my post stated.

    I started my Free Ranging flock on a Cracked Corn and mineral mix. After see most of it on the floor. I tried different types of feeders,but each one failed for one reason or another. I switched to a crumble a year ago. They ate even the dust in the beginning. Now, they scratch out the corn...

    Funny. I look again and something says "Rooster" No signs of being one,but something about that Silkie makes me think Rooster. Let us know what happens. I'd Love to see.
