My husband Mike and I retired to a small town outside of Myrtle Beach.
We bought five acres of woods and carved out a little living space. Nothing fancy, we just always wanted to live in nature.
We have seven children, and 12 grandchildren back home in Pennsylvania.
We have three crazy boxer dogs, a cat who thinks he’s a boxer dog, and one duck.
I always entertained the idea of having a small flock of chickens, and the time has come.
Since we are sheltering-in-place, and quarantining, etc., I have a lot of time for my new baby chickens.
