    Thank you for the help. I have heard some loud quacking so I must have at least one female! I did see online pictures of “Drake Feathers” and it does look like there are a couple with that curl. I hope to have eggs sometime soon! I’ve read varying reports on the age they lay also. Thanks again!

    I bought these 6 ducks about a month ago. This is my first time owning ducks as chickens have always been my thing. The lady I bought them from said they were female and 6-7 months old. I wanted laying ducks but none of them have had any eggs so far. How can you tell male from female?

    Washing eggs

    I am buying duck eggs from someone who doesn’t wash... so I am storing in a covered container in the refrigerator and then rinsing before I use. But some stuff is so dried and stuck on it’s really hard to get off. Just not sure if I should wash before refrigerating re the bloom thing. Any help??
