I second 3T Products. I just ordered 25'x50' from their website- it was the cheapest place I found, and I ordered on the 12th and got it on the 14th. Heavy duty stuff too.
I have 1 grey call hen who always lays soft-shelled eggs. Sometimes they are borderline hard, but never an actual egg shell. She gets free-choice layer pellets and oyster shell. All of my other calls lay normal eggs, so I am convinced she has a problem internally. She is also quite small.
Thanks mamabird! All of our pastures are fenced with 7-wire high tensile, but we are hoping to use some fixed-knot fencing in the future. Hopefully by then I will have a good argument for why goats are a necessity on this farm.
Beautiful website, btw.
Haha! Love it!
I saw similar cat toys at TSC, but I think they were ducks. Too bad this house has a black hole that sucks up cat toys- I suspect it's under the oven.
Aww! They are just adorable.
My fiance' has said "No goats!" but if I came home with cuties like that he couldn't say no!
What do you use for fencing? I've been wondering if the smaller goats are more difficult to contain than larger breeds.
I give extra milk from our cow to the chickens. Most of the time I mix it with some layer pellets and let it sit until the pellets have absorbed all the milk and are mushy- it's less messy to feed that way. Sometimes they get a bowl of milk only, but they get so excited about it and always find...
How did I miss this???
The kittens are adorable, and the mother is beautiful as well!
If I ever vacation in Spain I will bring big, empty suitcases... homeless kitties melt my heart! Bless you for caring for them.
The ducks are the boss around here! If the feeder happens to be empty, I hear constant ear-splitting shrieks until it gets filled again. When I'm in the process of cleaning the pool they all start quacking "Hurry up!"... and I think they may also be insulting me.
It's a good thing they're so...

My brother had a very talkative Furby. It started chattering late at night and my dad couldn't figure out how to turn it off. He put it under a cast iron frying pan covered with dish towels- but bashing it with said frying pan would have worked better.
Oh the cuteness! I love all the different spot patterns.
I took care of a litter of 11 puppies once for 2 weeks- whew! It was big fun, but lots of work (and little sleep!)
Thanks for sharing your cuties!
