    chicken breed?

    We purchased this little gal back in April. She was only 15 grams at day 2. We were told she was a silkie. Now at two month old she only weighs 8 ounces, significantly smaller than her peers. Clearly she is not a silkie. What is she? Anyone knows? Thank you so much in advance. Laura

    At this point, 26 hours after the incident, she cannot eat but she is able to take in some water. I am keeping my fingers crossed. Thank you so much for the advice. Will report back.

    yesterday we had a casualty. We lost half of our chickens. One was badly hurt. Some skin on her neck is torn and I believe there is also a little hole. I have used corn starch to stop the bleeding. But she cannot stand on her own, neither can she eat. I was able to dip her beak into the water...
