    I have a hen, the breeder is calling her a California White. all the chicks are white, hens have a black dot on their heads. all chicks have some black flecks but more on hens than roosters. they are beautiful chickens but odd. anyone ever heard of them.?

    I am not sure what breeds they put together but the guy ( I bought them from) calls them white Andalusian chickens. they are very quiet laid back chickens.

    Pasty butt on Columbian rock

    I had this problem with chicks I ordered. Give them some scrambled eggs. fluffy eggs made with just a bit of water at the end. It works wonders.!
