Thank you!! We feel like she is female. Either way we are so happy we were able to rescue this super sweet duck! She (or he!) is a true joy!

Thank you for the input! He/she is about 6.5 lbs. What behavioral differences are most noticeable to you? That may help since I don't have other to compare sizes with.

So cute! Mine makes a pretty similar sound, just higher pitched; she sounds a bit more whistle-like but it’s similar! Thanks for sharing!!

Try giving them peas, that has always worked in getting new ducklings to warm up to me. They get obsessed with peas so quickly and I become their favorite (after the peas)! Good luck :)
