    Wow! I had to come see who else you had after seeing your Swedish Flower Hens comment. Amazing! You have some truly beautiful birds (and other cuties). And guineas! They are the other bird I have my eye on, at the moment ;) If only we had endless acreage!!

    Ha! You would be surprised! We are in SouthEast Charlotte and our neighbors have told us the crowing was enjoyable to hear! Personally, I - myself - did not enjoy being woken at 5am, but I guess each to their own! Good luck with your new chickens!

    Isn't it awful?! We think we lost our speckled suss hen to a hawk this past autumn. I used to think hawks were so beautiful... until they started stalking our birds! I think we must have at least 4 adults that live extremely close - and they are Big! I am happy to hear everyone made it through...
