    Easter Egger cockerel?

We’re strictly keeping him for muscle and to keep the girls in check :) I didn’t want a rooster at all, but I love all of these guys! I wish I could build 4 more coops but my husband may divorce me

    Breed help!

They’re roughly 6.5 weeks! I don’t think they’re meat birds, as they’re basically fully feathered (and they’re gorgeous feathers!) and they’re roughly the same size as the black feathered gals :) from my understanding, they would be a lot less active and way larger by this point if they were...

    Breed help!

We purchased these as Amber sex links/Black sex links, and I don’t think that’s what these are. Can you guys confirm or deny that? :D The white gals are Blanche, Rose, Dorothy, and Sofia. Gloria is the little penguin looking gal :)

    Pullers or Cockerels?

Okay! That’s what I was thinking. I’ve been trying to keep an eye on combs and wattles too, but man, it’s so hard I’m sure I’ll get the hang of it eventually.

    Pullers or Cockerels?

Is it too early to sex? Still fairly new to this, they’re 5-6 weeks old and I’ve been trying to keep an eye on hackle/saddle feathers buuuut I’m unsure on these.

    ALABAMA!!

They are! Theyre a mix of 2-3 weekers right now, and I never thought I could or would love birds so much my seven year old son loves them too, and I’m looking into getting him into chicken shows in the future since he cares so much about them!

Hi everyone! We just moved to Elmore County, Alabama and want to have a small backyard chicken flock (our first!) Everything I've found online about the ordinance and the information I received from the extension office states that the coop must be enclosed. When I asked the folks at the...
