ALABAMA!!

Hey everyone! New chicken mom here, from Wetumpka! This has been 4 years in the making and I’m so, so excited to start making this a reality! I have a mixed flock with sex links, silkies, Polish, Sebright, frizzle Cochin, and EE’s, and we’re finishing up their coop this weekend :D

Welcome! I am in the Gadsden Boaz area. Your flock sounds as diverse as mine. I have silkies, polish, frizzles, sebrights, show girls and large fowl naked necks. Are all of your chickens babies at this time?

They are! Theyre a mix of 2-3 weekers right now, and I never thought I could or would love birds so much my seven year old son loves them too, and I’m looking into getting him into chicken shows in the future since he cares so much about them!

Hi, I'm from central Alabama ...Chilton County where we are famous for peaches and potholes. New to raising chickens and enjoying watching my babies hatch. Hope to find others in the general area to chat with about chicks and farm life.

That would be a great hobby for a child.

Hello we are new to the site. And new to chickens we have been going at it for a little over a year now, we definetly had some bumps but seem to be doing much better at getting the hang of it. We at interested in adding to our little group of 4 hens and 1 rooster, actually I believe we have our 1st hen sitting and we cant wait to see what follows! We are North Alabama near Scottsboro.
