I was wondering if anyone here uses mineral oil to coat their eggs before going into the incubator? I know this method is used for preserving eggs for up to a year for eating.. But I am curious if it helps the eggs or harms them when used for incubating? I have a friend who washes the bloom...

I just splinted it with a popsicle stick and surgical tape. She is eating and drinking water so perhaps there is hope for her?? I feel bad.

From further research on the internet, it seems that the turkey may have a slipped tendon. Any advice? Should I try and splint it in place to immobilize it? The turkey is MUCH smaller than the ones from the same hatching that I kept.
