    Chicken prolapse

Just to let you know, it's still up and she's back with the others and everything seems to be fine!

    Broken or sprained leg/foot?

I have similar - limping but no bumble foot. Mine now has a very pale comb and I've separated her cos she wasn't getting much food cos she's slow! She's had limping before after a lot of rain so hopefully it will sort itself out. Maybe arthritis?

    Chicken prolapse

Thank you both! I've got some calcium stuff coming that you add to their drinking water but I'll definitely look into the caltrate as well

    Chicken prolapse

Thank you for all your help - it's still in and she's gone to bed now. I don't think she's that impressed about having a lubricated rear end though!

Have just used sterex - a mixture of aloe vera witchazel and lemongrass I think, and up it went! Now hopefully it'll stay up...

    Chicken prolapse

She is pooping and eating and drinking all normally, seems fine apart from the prolapse! I've read that honey might help?

    Chicken prolapse

Compromised with a warm, wet flannel and now she is clean at least! Tried putting prep H gel on and to push it back in, but it wouldn't go and hurt her will try again later today

Thank you so much, I will have another go at bathing her in the morning - she'll just have to learn to enjoy bathtime!

    Chicken prolapse

Hello, my chicken Goldie has a prolapse. I've separated her from the others but the problem is I can't seem to get the prolapse or her underside clean. I've tried bathing her but she gets very distressed and I've tried wiping but it's white crusty stuff that won't come off! Thank you for your help.
