    Might take a long while. I've seen chickens not accept "the other girls" for some time. Think of Jr. high teenage girl clicks. Chickens are much the same.

    Thank you "Love my critters" I needed that reassurance. I now have my first pip!!! 1 out of 4 in the incubator. Crack is not about 1/8 inch in diamater. I added extra wet sponges to keep humidity up. Now the wait.

    This is my first hatch in an incubator. I'm on day 23 bbut no pips. However I could've sworn I just heard a peep? Can I be close to hatching? What do I do?
