SO I have 4 (one month old) pullets. We are about to put them out in there coop/. But snakes are going to be an issue I cant have roosters here but my husband is considering it. (hes such a rebel) Any thoughts? how are you managing snake issues?

ANy thoughts on using contact paper to protect the wood under the poop areas? I have kiltz the bottom but was thinking some poop is a little runny than others. ANy thoughts, The kind you used to cover your books with?
Thanks! Shes healing and the skin is dry and I hope her feathers come back soon. But shes been in with the other all night and her wound looks the same so no picking from the others thank goodness
Could I use pine pellets to absorb the poop in the coop instead of pdz? I need that for my bunnies, but wasnt sure if I could get a duel purpose out of it
