No worries your two golden ones are hens :) and good egg layer ! sex link means can tell at birth
I have two golden comets that I bought in march of this year so they are about 3 months old now.
It is still bird grit not much difference ,
it is to help them digest their food properly
I say if that is what you have at the moment use it . when they get older and you let them on the ground the little pebbles and stuff will naturally help .
try some chick grit also you can use warm water on wash rag to try to get some off . I had a chick with pasty butt that is what I did soon the chick got over it .
most say red sex link as you can see though that hen is more golden , my other one is darker she is the only one with a name right now lol her name is Amelia
I believed they were partridge Plymouth rock , but I was just looking at hens I should have looked at cockerels too
then I would have known then that , that is what I have .
you would be correct ! tsc had them as partridge Plymouth rock so I just wanted to make sure
I wish they could have been hens though nothing against roosters I like roosters just where I am I can only have hens
so I believe I can do a good trade maybe at auction .
there is a third one , which is in my default pic but at my luck it is probably a rooster too . Thanks once again this way I may be going to an auction I maybe able to do a trade .
Thanks for letting me know they are going to be roosters early on , I have them a good home to go to and where I will get to visit& see how they are doing plus they will have other chickens to be with .
