    We're all set -- all we need are some eggs, I know I can have them shipped but I would really prefer to purchase them somewhere local, we are in the East Bay and travel to Marin regularly so we can pick them up. Any suggestions??

    We're all dressed up -- with no eggs to hatch! I grew up with chickens and my kids have really enjoyed keeping them -- and eating all those delicious eggs! When our two RIR were eaten by a backyard predators (coyote? raccoon? possum? -- we have all kinds of critters in the open space behind...
