    Hey, thanks guys so much :) at what age should we separate them? We are going to keep one rooster, I guess we will have to decide who is the best rooster!! I do have a home for one of the boys already. We have 3 day old chicks here so she will have company eventually.

    Hi! Yes it was our first time buying chickens we got them at 8wks old. He has a farm with mixed heritage breeds and we weren’t picky about the breeds just that they were hens! At least we have one hen! Lol Thanks
