    He did it today but unfortunately i had left my cell phone inside as i was doing something else unrelated to the chickens. So he doesnt do it when he eats or drinks as i had not fed them yet. He does it directly after a hen laid a egg; could he just be very happy that he was a pops? I pick up...

    I Hes the one in my pic for the avatar. He crows just fine. Its just that honking noise. My neighbors two chickens(boy n girl) decided to "invade" my yard where i keep my chicks. I also thought maybe he was upset another rooster was in our turf. Im not sure. Ive owned dogs n cats; rabbits...

    I will have to get it on video for you. Hes about 2 and a half maybe 3. When hes was doing it today it was for much less time. Only a minute and i asked him what was wrong. He stopped shortly after that.

    He just recently started this. He will start honking. He scared me the first time he did it. I thought it was a bird called a chachalaca. Im afraid hes under stress.

    What have you repurposed while building ?

    I used a metal frame shipping crate that quads come in for the pen . All i did was flip it over so that the metal bars wouldnt hurt my chickens legs. Wrapped it in chicken wire; the actual coop was given to us. Ill have to get better pics
