    Yup, I agree(almost 3 weeks old).....I have my buttons out with 4 Cournix...they are as happy as can be....in the aviary..... Good luck and congrats!

    Do you name your chickens and if so how do you choose their names.

    LOL. We name ours! ALL of them....well, as soon as we know roo or not with the chicks....lol. We have 2 children, who adore ALL of the animals....so they must have names around here!!! (but it has to be ME that remembers them all!)

    momma's chickens : Unfortunately it is probably is too late, I would think, but maybe not. Momma hen probably knows that they weren't going to hatch, they have a way of knowing these things. Can you candle them and see if there is any movement or if they even developed. I am sorry and...

    Well. I have a feeling this is too late..... My broody hen hatched her first egg 3 days ago.....but then as of yesterday....had pushed all the other (7)eggs away....and is just taking care of her one chick!!!! WHAT do I do with the other eggs???? I assume they have all died over the last 24...

    My Easter Egger is injured? (not sure what to do)

    Yes. She feels normal........she still acts the same....and just wants back in with the rest of her family. She just looks.....odd....and "uncomfortable". I would love to let her back in the big coop...... I just can't do that.....in case it is a problem, or they pick on her.
