    Hatching eggs ordering

I am looking into ordering hatching eggs but am trying to figure out if they have to be picked up at the post office like live chicks or if the post office delivers the package with the eggs to your mailbox/house? Any suggestions on good hatcheries to order from are welcome too.

She was sitting on every egg Laid by all my hens except 4 and the eggs were laid over a 5 day period  it looked like most eggs were on day 3 or 4 based on the candle images I saw online. There were a few that were more on the day 2 or 3 side. I...

Broody hen?? advice on letting her hatch

Also if I got an incubator today could I move some of the eggs in there and leave the hen with only a small amount like 6 to handle and hatch the rest out of the incubator? Or is it to late in the process to switch to an incubator?

Broody hen?? advice on letting her hatch

Thank you for the reply. Would it be best to leave her with what comfortably fits under her or a specific number like 12 or 15 or something like that?

Broody hen?? advice on letting her hatch

Haha right! She is such a sweetheart. If she could hatch them all I bet she would. How many is a good number to let her sit on? And how should I pick which ones to get rid of? Just randomly pick from the outer edge or should I wait until it's been like 10 days and candle then remove the ones...

Broody hen?? advice on letting her hatch

Thank you! I am hoping she will discard any non viable eggs like my duck did but figured I may be able to candle late next week and get her down to around 20 so she can keep them all covered.
