    Odor destroyer....

It's sunny but when it rains it gets stinky. We have a small compost are where I rake the poo. The area is 18x4, and about half is covered. Hardware cloth all around and dirt ground except 2 grazing box areas.

I've seen that people use sweet PDZ. This seemed similar but more for the $$$.

    meyers hatchery

I'm still waiting to find out if the one we were questioning is a cockerel. They are only 3 weeks old. She/he is much better and has been integrated back in the flock so my hopes are high the it is a pullet.

    BYC members in Massachusetts?

First time chicken owner in North Central, MA. We have 2 Easter Eggers, 2 Welsummers, 2 Barred Rocks, and 1 RI Red. We had 2 but sadly lost 1 a few days after receiving her. They are a riot. They are almost 3 weeks old.

Is corid safe even if the itty bitty chick does not have coccidiosis?

I was wondering is corid is safe if the chicks are not sick. I have a new baby that is sick and I'm not sure if coccidiosis is what's wrong but I wanted to give her corid to rule it out. Will it do harm if it isn't the problem? Thanks for your help.

New baby chick is a bully--relentless pecking at EYES!

Omg. I'm so happy to see this. I'm a chickie newbie and just got 8 babies that were shipped to me yesterday. One of them is so mean. She goes after the others eyes the will not let go. She was in time out for the night and all she did was "peck peck peck" at the clear plastic of her brooder...
