Is corid safe even if the itty bitty chick does not have coccidiosis?

I was wondering is corid is safe if the chicks are not sick. I have a new baby that is sick

and I'm not sure if coccidiosis is what's wrong but I wanted to give her corid to rule it out. Will it do harm if it isn't the problem? Thanks for your help.

It is safe and will not harm them.

Powder dose is 1.5 teaspoons per gallon for 5-7 days, then 1/3 teaspoon per gallon for 7 days.
Liquid dose is 2 teaspoons per gallon for 5-7 days, then 1/2 teaspoon per gallon for 7 days.

Ignore dosing directions on Corid package, they're for cattle, and cattle get less.
