    Hello everyone, I had a baby chick hatch. We took it from the hens because one of our hens was pecking it. I put it under a heat lamp. I’m not sure what to do now!!!

    Update: She’s doing well, seems as if nothing ever happened. So I’m guessing she got really lucky and her behavior was just that she was in shock.. New learning experience for me! :wee

    I’m honestly not too familiar with owls, I live in the desert in California. I always called them screech owls because all night I hear them screech in the trees.

    She seems to be doing better. I threw some corn out to the hens and she was pecking at it. Still keeping my fingers crossed that she’s going to be ok.
