    my husband figured it out she was being sneaky and digging in a corner that wasn't real viable to us. so we had to make the wire go down farther and then added dirt. so hopefully that will work.

    there is a top on the whole thing and the walls are about 6 feet high and from what i can see she can't get under the wire fence.But no the wings are not clipped.

    oh yeah one more thing...how often do they need grit if they are still on starter food? do they just need it if i give them scraps and do i just put it in a pan of some sort or just throw it in their coop? we let them out in our yard for about an hour or so every day but we don't have rocks or...
