Hey out there. I'm new to all this. Got our first RIR chicks last week. They are about 2 weeks old as far as I can tell. They seem to be doing well and I actually took them outside for about an hour today and they loved it. I like in South Brevard county Florida. Hope to meet up sometime...
They seem to be fine. They are all moving around and eating and drinking fine, etc. I will have to take some pics this evening and upload them. Maybe someone can tell me if they look older than a week.

I just got 4 baby Rhode Island reds that are about 1 week old. The man at the feed store told me that I wouldn't need a heat lamp as we live in florida. He said just to put them in a room away from drafts and to close off the air conditioning vents in that room. Now its late and I'm not sure...
