    COLLECTING EGGS How are your HENS REACTING?

    So far my girls don't seem to mind when I go in and get the eggs. I have yet to try to reach under them, i'm a little scared

    What treat did your chickies get today?

    I wanted to try to give my girls a treat to get them used to me as they are a little skittish.... so I tried giving them a banana.... sheesh, they nearly mowed me down getting to it. I see treats are the way to their little hearts, lol.

    New to chickens... but these are my other babies!

    So I'm brand new to chickens... but I have other babies that I'm more familiar with. Only one that I think will get along with their new feathered sisters though! Bill the Bunny Stanley the Snake Butter (white one) and Diamond my rescue kids

    My new instant flock :)

    At least they know the routine. They go to the food bin at the same time every morning (and then to the bucket of sun flower seeds after!) , and then all go into the coop at the same time and wait for me to lock it up at dark. Good thing they are so smart, training me on how to take care of them

    So I moved into a house and ended up with an instant group of hens... no idea what breed any of them are, but they are all very friendly

    Hi all! I am very new to chickens, in fact I bought a house and the owner had chickens that did not go with them... so... I now am the proud momma of 9 pretty girls. I have never had chickens, I'm going mostly by what books I have found and came on here so I could hopefully get some help...
