I've treated my birds for both coccidiosis and worms. I'm not sure if I did the amprolium in the water for too short of a time period (3 days). I did that about 3 weeks ago and saw two worms after so treated with safeguard and am waiting for 10 days to pass to give one more dose.
I'm still...
I've just added probiotics/electrolytes from the Durvet powder packets to their water yesterday. Fingers crossed. I still see some pink specks like their intestinal lining / irritation in their poops.
Thank you! I could only find the equine version for the paste and wasn't confident in dispensing the liquid goat one.. so I'm on the second day of the paste. How long before seeing improvement in their poops? Liveliness and overall behavior of the chickens seem normal.
@Wyorp Rock @Eggcessive It is definitely worms! I found a dead one and got a pic.

So i posted a similar photo last week and after getting some feedback treated for coccidiosis for 3 days. But after that i began seeing more yellowish poops and this one today. Im pretty sure i saw a single white worm yesterday in a yellow poop. Is it worms that could cause this? This other...
@Eggcessive found a worm today 😩 i just added amprolium to finish out the 3rd day for their water but it looks like a tapeworm in one of their poops.
What to do? And what is safe to dispense?

I looked up the active ingredient and it is the same as Amprol and the same dosage as well so I went forward with giving it to my chickens in their water. Fingers crossed! The bloodyish poops continued today as well.
I had another question for @BlindLemonChicken and @Eggcessive: what if my...
