    Lifted the hen and looked at the egg, shell is crumbled I can see wings and feathers under the membrane but no movement shell is crumbling away, can't read fast enough!!, I slid the chick/egg back under hen in same position I took it out...hatch assist or let God and mother nature do thier thing

    I drive to East Earl PA to get my straw straight down I-81 take a left toward pottsville and Reading Pa head toward Lancaster and get off in Ephrata go east towards new holland... best straw in the country. They actually thresh of the seed heads so it's clean and golden. Amish/Mennonite farms...

    Bummmed out my older hen that I have had to keep seperated from the younger hens was attacked today, they had gone on about the day so I let her out in the hen house, they must have doubled back and pecked her head exposing the bone. I have her in a clean dry area in our planting/greenhouse area...
