    Doves Fighting

    i'm sure they will be happy now that they each have a girlfriend. I have 3 males who live together and they all get along well.. it think it depends a lot on the birds personality though and two of them are bothers.

    not laying yet. only my male has the beautiful red comb. I had two roosters but I traded one of them for the white mixed chicken of unknown gender. the white chicken seems more tame them my mille fleur chickens. I also just heard back from a guy so I'll be picking up some more bantams today...

    Doves Fighting

    are they the same age? male doves jump onto the back of the females to mate with usually evolves a lot of flapping. males will also do a mating dance to a female with lots of bowing and cooing, females some times can do this too though so it's not a reliable way of sexing the birds.

    Thank you....maybe in a month or two it'll be easier to tell for sure. I really hope it turns out to be a hen.. i'll keep it ether way, it's a neat looking bird.

    I picked up a chicken today from a lady she wasn't sure be thought maybe it was a hen. it's supposedly a silkie/ old English game mix bantam about 4 months old. what do you guys think rooster or hen? I appreciate any help. I think it's a beautiful bird and I have other bantams the same age...
