    River/creek Sand? Or natural dirt/pine and leaf floor

    We currently have a dirt floor coop and add fallen pine needles and dry oak leaves since there is an endless supply on our property. When I clean the coop I take out the pine needles and add new ones full of yummy bugs I’m sure. Of course the chickens scrape back down to the dirt and dust bathe...

    Hen or Roo? 6 weeks old. My guess for number one is hen.. number 2..? Any thoughts on gender? I think they were either red sex link or Rhodes islands red, I don’t know how to tell the difference..

    Swollen all around her eye...

    I noticed one of our Hens eye’s looked like it has a lump underneath it, and has then began to swell all the way around. I have attached pics of both her swollen eye, and the other side that is fine. She seems otherwise fine, no other symptoms. I have vetercyn plus spray on hand but don’t see...
