I noticed one of our Hens eye’s looked like it has a lump underneath it, and has then began to swell all the way around. I have attached pics of both her swollen eye, and the other side that is fine. She seems otherwise fine, no other symptoms. I have vetercyn plus spray on hand but don’t see any sort of lesion ect. She is separated from flock now..
My questions are..
1. How would you treat it?
2. Would you use vetercyn spray..?
3.what should I try to purchase to help her?

.of course when you google something like this it terrifies me because coryza pops up..

Sorry about your hen. I would clean the bubbly eye with saline or water and a clean washcloth. Then use antibiotc oitment such as Terramycin from the feed store 2-3 times per day. This could be mycoplasma gallisepticum (MG,) a chronic respiratory disease that can be common in backyard flocks. Coryza is much worse, is said to smell very bad, and less common. If you see sneezing or lethargy, I would get Tylosin here, and treat for 5 days:

MG can only be diagnosed with testing or a necropsy, and here is a good article about it:
