Broken leg
Unfortunately a duck escaped out of its pen and my daughter (who's 3) caught it and put it. I think its got a broken leg and the vet says it will cost £2000, which obviously sounds ridiculous. Is there anything I can do to help it so I dont have to put it down. Really appreciate any advice I can... -

The coop itself is just a shed with home made nest area but theres a large space for them to run around with an old bath dug into the ground filled with water. It was already in my allotment when I took over it and I've spent time making it fox proof. -

Unable to stand up
He seems fine now. I was expecting to wake up today and find him dead but I'm over the moon to say hes alive and sitting properly now. Thank you to the both who responded- Lja

Unable to stand up
Hi I've just hatched my first ducklings and one of them is unable to stand up. It moves about now and then and always ends up lying face down or on its side. It seems very weak compared to the rest of them, does anyone know if there is anything I can do- Lja
