Hi, we just cut down a very small oak tree and put it in the chicken run so chickens could climb on it. Some are pecking at and possibly eating the leaves. Is this toxic to them? I've heard differing opinions. I'm going out to take it out just in case but would appreciate some feedback...

If she has been exposed to other chickens how long before they could get sick?

Approx. 6 month old RIR with chronic cough since we got her about 3-4 weeks ago. Will it get worse if untreated or do you suggest antibiotics as a precaution? Maybe a little watery eye but it now looks fine. No other symptoms, eating, drinking and laying eggs. Do you think she's contagious...
