    Our first eggs! We got 2 this a.m.! Now what?

    FIrst egg 4 days ago.. One a day until yesterday. Then there were Three.. We have buffs and they just turned 17 weeks.. Ate the first eggs and they were great. On the small side but told they will get bigger....

    Well My buffs just turn three weeks.. They are got I think most of their feathers.. Is this normal at this age? It seems like I read that it is 5 to 7 weeks when they get their feathers.. I got a white one.. Is that a White Orp? Then they thru in a different kind but didn't tell me what...

    Hello everyone.. Got in 25 Buff Org... and one different one.. They didn't tell me what it was.. They are about three weeks now.. I have 14 all together.. The rest went to a neighbors place. They are doing great and we are loving them. Love the site and I will be asking alot of questions..

    letting hen hatch the eggs?

    Well the plan was to split without a rooster and pick those eggs everyday and the other have with the rooster to lay and hatch those eggs. see if I can just let the hen do it or pick them and hatch them ourselves.. Thanks for all the help

    Is there any info about hen hatching the eggs herself. I was going to split my hens up. Half for eggs and the other half with a rooster and let them do their own things with hatching their eggs. Is that good or bad?
