This is the first time I've ever raised chickens. I purchased 6 at TSC out of the mixed bin. I have no idea what type they are or sex, but reading some of your comments and seeing pics of others I'm thinking I've got more roos than hens.
They said they were two weeks old. I just noticed that one of the reds has a purplish/reddish beak, the other two reds have yellow beaks, I wonder what the difference is? They have really grown and this morning when I checked in on them one of the yellow ones had flown to the top of the brooder...
