I can take some photos if necessary. They are "mixed reds" from TSC. Some have longer tail feathers and those I think might be Roos because they come up in a tiny curve. If that doesn't mean anything in particular are there any other distinguishing characteristics that I could look for at this age? They are 2 weeks and 2 days.

I have pics up of mine. I also got them from TSC in the mixed bin and have no idea what they are. Do these look like yours?

I am not sure what my TSC mixed reds are either...

OK, I'm totally new to this, but on this photo, the first one the left and the third are Golden Comets and they are pullets. They look just like my 5 I've had for four days. The others, I am not sure. HTH!

The rest may also be...it may be the lighting that makes me not be able to tell, but again, I'm new.

there should be a thread on BYC on how to tell if you have hen or roo, one method was to hold them below the head, if the feet dangle down you have a hen, if they kick and try to scratch you have a roo, I have been practicing at TSC it is kind of fun, it does have to be done early on 1 or 2 weeks I think.

I did try this the second day I got them, it was about 50/50 lol. Some tried to get free and some just looked at me like "okay now what?". I guess its all just a wait and see situation.

Oh well, They are all pretty awesome. I LOVE watching them play "bugball" (foot ball with a bug) They tackle each other and steal the bug and run all in circles. Hilarious!!

Your dark ones look much darker than mine. Are they older? Maybe mine dont have as many feathers yet.
I really need to take some pics.

They said they were two weeks old. I just noticed that one of the reds has a purplish/reddish beak, the other two reds have yellow beaks, I wonder what the difference is? They have really grown and this morning when I checked in on them one of the yellow ones had flown to the top of the brooder and was sitting there.
